The Bike Yard at Welcome Park is an amazing recreational opportunity for local youth and families in the heart of the Carillon neighborhood. This new amenity will provide a place for residents and visitors alike to enjoy the feeling of freedom and adventure on their bicycles. It will be a draw for riders of all ages and abilities from across the Midwest and will continue to enhance the quality of life, image, and vibrancy of the City of Dayton.

Located within the Carillon neighborhood, Welcome Park is accessible from I-75, close to Downtown, and adjacent to the Great Miami River Recreational Trail. Completing the vision for the Bike Yard at Welcome Park will add a modern mountain bike amenity to this regional recreation space.

Starting in 2018, Welcome Park received a complete overhaul. Basketball courts and playground equipment were replaced and restored. The park shelter was painted, the bathrooms updated, and the multi-use path installed. These City investments ensure Welcome Park will remain a neighborhood amenity while supporting the park’s transformation into a biking attraction that serves the region.
